In the latest developments of the main Hellsing storyline, Walter is captured by The Captain of the Millennium Organization during their invasion of England. He has gone through a similar process to the Major and the Doc's troops (although hastily conducted, according to the Doc), and now appears forty or so years younger, serving as Millennium's new secret weapon (when the Major sees the finished product, he remarks "It was determined 55 years ago that you would join us"). Walter himself does not add many more details, both affirming he was brainwashed to fight Hellsing, and that he is fighting of his own free will against Alucard. In Volume 9 of Hellsing, Walter has leaped from his perch on one of Alucard's stakes to confront him, crushing what was left of Alexander Anderson underfoot, saying that people become trash once they are dead, and that trash should not be mourned for. He then tells everyone he was brainwashed and rejuvenated. When Seras intervenes, Walter asks if she would like more the explanation that he is fighting of his own free will against Alucard. Enraged by his desecration of Father Anderson's remains, Yumie attacks him, but is easily outmatched and cut into pieces in a single move. After listening as Walter explains himself, Alucard criticizes his decision, saying that his old, aged body was many times more beautiful than his new, unnaturally youthful one. He also makes ironic use of the statement "If we cannot have our prosperity with pride then we should reject such prosperity". This comment was made by Walter, but referenced by Alucard to mock Walter's hypocrisy regarding his fear of becoming old and useless. Also, during Walter's brief fight with the Captain, the Major's dialogue seems to imply his previous remark meant he had made the choice to forcefully draft Walter into Millennium ever since witnessing his feats of power during WWII.

Seras was originally a police officer who, along with the rest of her squad, was sent into the village of Cheddar, where a vampire disguised as (or possibly was formerly) a priest had taken control of the town and turned its inhabitants into ghouls (zombies). She was taken hostage by that priest vampire, who used her as a shield from Alucard, she was then given a "choice" by Alucard after shooting her through the lung in order to kill the vampire: she could either die as a human, or be turned into a vampire herself, and live. She chose to live, and so Alucard turned her into a vampire, her female virgin blood allowed her to successfully make the transition from human to vampire (non-virgin or same-sex vampire victims become ghouls- this aspect is only present in the original manga and the OVA series however; in the televised series, vampirism is simply determined by the will of the drinking vampire, and possibly by the victim being willing to make the change, and vampires can raise any newly dead humans nearby as ghouls). She was employed by the Hellsing Organization immediately afterwards, and it supplies all her needs such as sufficient blood for consumption and shelter secure from any daylight exposure. Seras is a strong willed woman, and apparently had always been since her childhood which is confirmed through flashbacks.
Seras Victoria is often considered a tomboy; a very brave, strong-willed and heroic young woman who often rejects following orders of her master that cross with her personal beliefs. However, she is a loyal and trustworthy soldier who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his or her worth. Her level of maturity in comparison to the other characters is somewhat questionable; she seems to be the child the others could not be, yet possessing a sort of worldly maturity and superficial intelligence that most other characters lack, as well as a sort of 'nature winning against nurture' mentality, as opposed to most of other characters

Alucard Hellsing

Posted by Van Helsing

A powerful vampire, Alucard works with the Hellsing Organization against other vampires and evil forces. He has a range of supernatural techniques including enhanced strength. He fights with ferocity and often extreme cruelty, rarely intending to kill until his target has been disabled and humiliated, while frequently allowing enemies more than one chance to kill him. According to Volume 8 of the manga, he is Count Dracula. Soon after the events presented in the book, Van Helsing gains control of Dracula, renaming himself Alucard (Dracula spelled backward), and leaves him as a servant of the Hellsing family.
He typically dresses in a distinctive Victorian fashion, with a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, a red cravat, and a long red overcoat. He also wears a red fedora with a wide, floppy brim and a pair of circular, wire-framed sunglasses.

Sir Integra Hellsing is a 22-year-old noblewoman member of the Protestant Knights who is the head and last member of the Hellsing family, the Bureau Director of the Hellsing Organization, and the current master of Hellsing's vampire, Alucard. Integra is usually a collected individual, rarely allowing her emotions to get in the way of business. However, she is sometimes prone to fits of anger. The Hellsing family is "on a mission from God", and she values her duties to protect the United Kingdom and the Anglican Church above everything else. For her, failure is not tolerated, especially her own. She runs the Hellsing Organization with charisma and patriotism, and she is one of the few people who can stand up to the force of Alucard's personality and command his respect. Integra has been criticized for looking too masculine, crtics have compared her looks to Final Fantasy's Sephiroth.

Hellsing Anime Plot

Posted by Van Helsing

Hellsing is named after and centered around the Holy Order of Protestant Knights, originally led by Abraham Van Helsing. The mission of Hellsing is to protect Queen and Country from the undead and other supernatural forces of evil. This organization is currently led by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who inherited the leadership of Hellsing as a child after the death of her father. She is protected by the faithful Hellsing family butler and former Hellsing "trashman," Walter C. Dornez, and Alucard, the original and most powerful vampire that swore loyalty to the Hellsing family after being defeated by Van Helsing one hundred years before the story takes place. These formidable guardians are joined early on in the storyline by former police officer Seras Victoria, whom Alucard turned into a vampire.
As the scale and frequency of incidents involving the undead escalate in England and all around the world, Sir Integra discovers that the remnants of a Nazi group called Millennium still exist and are intent on reviving the Third Reich by creating a battalion of vampires. Millennium, Hellsing, and the Vatican section XIII Iscariot clash in an apocalyptic three-sided war in London, and Millennium reveals its true objective: to destroy the vampire Alucard, ending a feud begun during World War II.
